Job description
- Review and evolve entity governance in line with updates to the risk appetite framework;
- Design and deploy, as necessary, escalation mechanisms to effectively deal with non-risk situations;
- Identify, develop and implement methodologies for integrating the risk appetite framework into strategic decisions;
- Support the continuous enhancement of the risk appetite framework;
- Design and deliver training activities for executives to promote the integration of the framework into business decisions;
- Develop and implement a structured process of critical reviews of the risk appetite framework;
- Promote and strengthen an organization-wide culture of risk management, including through the rigorous and pragmatic application of the three lines of defense model.
- Master enterprise risk management principles and risk appetite frameworks;
- Have in-depth knowledge of the issues specific to damage insurance and personal insurance;
- Be able to formalize, document and evolve governance frameworks;
- Experience in integrating risk considerations into strategic and business decisions;
- Understand the three lines of defense model and its practical application;
- Demonstrate comfort in developing escalation mechanisms, key risk indicators (KRIs), and tracking processes.
