Senior IT Quality Assurance Advisor

Job description
- Develop the detailed quality strategy in collaboration with the architecture and project teams;
- Ensure the implementation of the quality strategy and coordinate the alignment between the IT teams;
- Identify and plan trial types, environments, and prerequisites based on risk;
- Define a sequence of test execution to optimize the investment of QA efforts;
- Implement robust quality assurance processes, including execution tracking, bug management, and peer reviews;
- Analyze quality performance indicators and recommend corrective actions;
- Contribute to quality documentation, including procedures, standards and control files;
- Support specialists in defining scopes (stories, sprints, releases, projects, tests);
- Act as a strategic advisor and provide influential leadership to stakeholders.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline;
- Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT quality assurance;
- Demonstrate experience in developing and executing quality strategies;
- Operate effectively in complex organizational and political environments;
- Have a strong background in information technology and understand development approaches;
- Have experience in multi-team and multi-project contexts within large organizations;
- Coordinate initiatives and provide strategic guidance;
- Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal skills and strong influence;
- Hold a quality assurance certification (e.g.: ISTQB) (an asset);
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and Xray tools (an asset);
- Experience in the digital and BI fields (an asset);
- Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry (an asset);
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
