Job description
- Assume project responsibility by planning, organizing and coordinating related activities;
- Ensure the sustainability of the IT systems portfolio within his/her field of activity;
- Ensure that budgets and deadlines are respected for the projects under his/her responsibility;
- Integrate the work of permanent, temporary, external or other unit resources into a matrix management context;
- Define mandates by specifying project requirements, responsibilities, deliverables, performance indicators and limitations;
- Report on the progress of projects to clients according to established commitments;
- Present the status of the system portfolio and the follow-up of current mandates;
- Develop the frameworks, processes and tools necessary for project management;
- Provide expert advice and advice to teams on project management practices;
- Support client units in the evolution of their systems and the use of information technology;
- Act as a facilitator and facilitator in an Agile or DevOps context.
The profile we are looking for is as follows:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science or a relevant field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Have between six (6) and nine (9) years of experience as a technology project manager;
- Experience in managing large or complex information technology projects;
- Knowledge of infrastructure, security, network, or application technology environments;
- Master the principles, methods and practices of project management in a technological context;
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure delivery objectives are met;
- Proficient in project management and Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe, and act as a Scrum Master;
- Have a solid knowledge of project evaluation, including scope, costs and schedules;
- Use Jira and Confluence for project management, tracking, and documentation;
- Experience in planning and delivering Agile projects in the context of large-scale projects or complex solutions;
- Understand the principles of capacity management and resource planning;
- Manage external vendors for technology projects;
- PMI, PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification (an asset).
