Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :
• Manage the financial control activities of projects, including the production of monthly cost reports, budget forecasts, provisions, chargebacks, reconciliations and quarterly budget revisions;
• Analyze project and portfolio performance indicators, maintain dashboards and governance metrics, and prepare reports for management;
• Validate project schedules in Microsoft Project, including baselines, dependencies, milestones, schedule quality, and variance analyses;
• Prepare projects for the various governance bodies and executive reviews by ensuring compliance of approvals, baselines and required documentation;
• Perform quality reviews of project management deliverables, including progress statuses, project charters, management plans, change requests, business files and governance files;
• Lead monthly cost reviews, support project monitoring committees and coordinate project closure activities;
• Oversee procurement and financial control activities, including the management of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, financial commitments and supplier relationships;
• Support funding applications, capital and operating expense analysis, capacity planning, and monitoring of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies;
• Maintain project documentation and evidence of compliance in approved document repositories;
• Identify compliance gaps, support audits, track corrective actions and contribute to the continuous improvement of accountability processes through automation and standardization;
• Support project managers and teams in the application of methodologies, governance practices, financial processes and project closure activities;
• Coordinate the integration and departure of resources as well as portfolio management activities as required.

The profile we are looking for is as follows:
• Have at least five years of experience in project controlling, planning, coordination, project administration or project management in a program or project management office environment;
• Master project governance frameworks, lifecycle checkpoints, compliance controls, and audit readiness;
• Advanced Microsoft Project expertise, including managing baselines, dependencies, milestones, schedule quality reviews, and variance analysis;
• Experience in project financial management, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, provisions, chargebacks, financing requests, capital and operating expense analysis, and project financial close-out;
• Knowledge of the preparation and review of key project management deliverables, including progress statuses, charters, management plans, change requests, business files, and governance files;
• Proficient in Excel at an advanced level and have hands-on experience in developing dashboards and analytical reports;
• Experience with Power BI and SharePoint (an asset);
• Experience in procurement and financial administration of projects, including managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing, vendors, and financial commitments;
• Knowledge of SAP and Ariba (an asset);
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, communication, collaboration, document management and stakeholder management skills.
