Job description
- Lead the complete delivery of initiatives, from planning to close, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities;
- Structure mandates into roadmaps including deliverables, milestones, dependencies, governance mechanisms and indicators of success;
- Mobilize stakeholders, clarify responsibilities and facilitate decision-making;
- Manage interdependencies between projects, teams and the different delivery components;
- Facilitate collaboration between business sectors and technology teams to ensure the achievement of objectives;
- Manage the execution of work in complex and evolving contexts by maintaining the pace of delivery;
- Implement governance mechanisms, monitoring of risks, issues, decisions and changes;
- Prepare for the transition to operations by defining processes, controls, support model, and adoption needs;
- Coordinate suppliers and external partners to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and deadlines;
- Oversee risks related to operations, compliance, organizational capacity, training, and adoption;
- Measure results achieved using performance, benefit, and adoption metrics;
- Produce executive reports on progress, risks, issues, decisions and results;
- Promote best practices in project management and foster continuous improvement;
- Maintain project documentation in accordance with methodologies and organizational standards;
- Support change management, communication, training and user coaching activities.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management, operations or a related discipline;
- Cumulate more than ten (10) years of experience in managing complex projects in the banking or financial services sector;
- Carry out organizational transformation mandates involving technological, operational or organizational changes;
- Manage large-scale initiatives with several delivery components, external suppliers and business partners;
- Accompany adoption, training, deployment and post-implementation support activities;
- Define expected benefits, indicators of success and mechanisms for measuring value;
- Master the principles of project governance, including integrated planning, management of scope, schedules, budgets, risks and changes;
- Structure complex mandates into clear execution plans, governance mechanisms and roadmaps;
- Apply change management practices related to stakeholder engagement, communications and training;
- Use project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project and portfolio management platforms;
- Produce dashboards, performance analyses and management reports for management;
- Understand agile, traditional, and hybrid delivery approaches;
- Hold a certification in project management, an asset;
- Possess a master's degree in a relevant field, an asset;
- Demonstrate mobilizing leadership, excellent judgment, and a strong ability to influence stakeholders;
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding of documentation and professional communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues internationally. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
