Job description
- Define and evolve the AWS data platform architecture;
- Design and optimize data integration, transformation, and consumption workflows;
- Lead architectural orientations related to Snowflake, Airflow, and Apache NiFi;
- Establish ETL/ELT standards, integration models, and best operating practices;
- Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements for performance, security, resiliency, observability, and maintainability;
- Collaborate with architecture, development, AI, operations, and business sectors;
- Influence technology decisions and support teams in adopting best practices;
- Evaluate, recommend and document architecture solutions;
- Participate in cloud cost reduction and performance optimization initiatives;
- Contribute to data governance and quality strategies;
- Participate in architecture reviews and proof-of-concept (POC) activities;
- Act as a technical reference for the teams.
- Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience;
- Have a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in architecture, engineering, or data platforms;
- Operate in large, complex environments;
- Demonstrate significant experience in the implementation of modern cloud analytics platforms;
- Have expertise in data architecture and data engineering;
- Master the Snowflake platform;
- Leverage ETL/ELT technologies and processes;
- Design and evolve data platform architectures;
- Integrate and apply non-functional requirements (NFR) in proposed solutions;
- Develop advanced expertise in AWS Cloud Services;
- Advanced Apache Airflow Use;
- Administer and optimize Apache NiFi;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, documentation understanding and professional communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues internationally. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
