Job description
- Write functional requirements, non-functional requirements, use cases and evaluation criteria;
- Produce and maintain functional documentation, including processes, use cases, user stories, requirements and business rules;
- Participate in the definition and optimization of current processes by proposing value-added improvements;
- Ensure traceability between the needs, requirements and evaluation criteria of bids;
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, and business teams to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Participate in the tendering strategy, including the definition of the scope, structuring and cutting;
- Lead scoping and validation workshops with stakeholders;
- Translate functional needs into clear and structured specifications for IT teams and integrators;
- Support teams in the adoption of the solution, including user testing, training and start-up support;
- Contribute to the functional evaluation of submissions and the identification of discrepancies;
- Collaborate with architecture consultants, developers, business owners, and project managers;
- Propose improvements to processes in accordance with internal governance;
- Identify risks, challenges and opportunities related to processes and the solution;
- Ensure the quality of deliverables and respect for deadlines;
- Analyze and document business needs for inclusion in tender documents;
- Support post-tender activities, including validation of deliverables, user testing, and alignment of solutions with needs.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, management or a relevant field;
- Have more than eight (8) years of experience in business analysis;
- Demonstrate experience in transformation or platform implementation projects;
- Understand IT environments and solution integration;
- Experience in a parapublic context or in tenders (an asset);
- Knowledge of supply chain processes (an asset);
- Master process mapping and optimization, especially with BPMN (an asset);
- Possess knowledge of supply chain systems such as ERPs, e-commerce platforms, and OMS;
- Demonstrate experience in complex environments involving multiple stakeholders;
- Know Atlassian Confluence (an asset);
- Demonstrate leadership, influence and critical thinking;
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
- Possess rigor, autonomy and good organizational skills;
- Adopt a value-oriented approach and continuous improvement;
- Be able to operate in a structured and regulated environment;
- Understand business needs and demonstrate strong customer focus;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player;
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative and adaptability;
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills;
- Be able to manage multiple folders simultaneously and prioritize;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
