Job description
- Define, maintain, and execute test policies and plans;
- Design and automate UI test cases (Selenium, Playwright);
- Automate BackEnd / API testing (HttpYac);
- Determine which tests to automate versus which to maintain manual;
- Maintain and evolve automated test and regression suites;
- Run tests and document results in appropriate tools;
- Use artificial intelligence tools to increase the productivity of testing activities;
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and Product Owners;
- Lead regression testing activities on existing applications as needed;
- Ensure the quality and stability of systems throughout the product lifecycle (PLC);
- Maintain complete, adequate and up-to-date QA documentation.
- Hold an undergraduate degree in information technology or equivalent experience;
- Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in quality assurance or information technology;
- Have experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, INVEST);
- Be an expert with artificial intelligence tools such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent;
- Demonstrate expertise in back-end testing, both manual and automated (HttpYac);
- Master automated UI tests (Selenium, Playwright);
- Use Azure DevOps effectively in a business context;
- Collaborate effectively with developers and product teams.
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
