Project Manager - IT Infrastructure Delivery

Job description
- Ensure the governance of the entire projects;
- Adhere to project lifecycle policies and procedures;
- Monitor and evaluate project performance (schedule, deliverables, quality and compliance);
- Assess, manage and communicate risks and contentious issues in order to proactively address situations;
- Manage and communicate the progress of project milestones and activities to stakeholders;
- Recommend corrective actions when necessary;
- To ensure quality service to internal customers and business units;
- Operational component of technical projects:
- Collection and documentation of requirements;
- Project solution design;
- Create and manage the project calendar in Microsoft Project or another project management application;
- Creating and tracking the financial budget;
- Risk and problem management;
- Change management;
- Regular reporting on project status;
- Project management certifications such as PMP, Prince 2, Agile or Six Sigma will be considered (an asset);
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, including experience in technical project management;
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering IT infrastructure projects in large environments Delivering on time and on budget.
- Have a good command of Microsoft Project or other project management software;
- Demonstrate an ability to manage high-visibility, strategic and/or risky projects (out of bounds);
- Have the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume, dynamic environment;
- Have analytical skills, organizational skills and decision-making skills;
- Have excellent prioritization, organizational, and rigor skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrate leadership skills, including the ability to influence and motivate team members to achieve excellence;
- Have good skills in developing relationships with project team members, stakeholders, units and the executive team;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, documentation comprehension and professional communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
