Job description
- Analyze the existing AV environment and the current vendor context;
- Plan and facilitate workshops to collect business, technical and operational requirements;
- Define the scope and write the complete tender documentation;
- Collaborate with the Procurement team for the publication and management of the process;
- Answer bidders' questions and ensure fairness in the process;
- Analyze and compare bids from a technical and commercial point of view;
- Participate in evaluation committees and recommend the successful vendor;
- Support the clarification, negotiation and contractual transition phases;
- Plan and support the transition and integration of the new supplier;
- Produce key deliverables: evaluation matrices, benchmarking, transition plan, close-out report;
- Provide ad hoc support to other IT tenders as required.
- Bachelor's degree in administration or relevant training;
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology;
- Demonstrated experience in public tendering and definition of requirements;
- Have experience in license management, monitoring and platforms; administration (Webex Control Hub, Teams Admin Center)
- Demonstrate a good understanding of meeting room design and professional audio-video technologies;
- Have deep expertise in AV solutions and collaboration:
- Cisco Collaboration/AV (Webex Room Series, RoomOS, devices);
- Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), MTR on Android, interop Cisco? Teams;
- AV over IP (AVoIP), PoE, AV network integration.
- Have strong contract management, communication and influence skills;
- Have a mastery of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Be rigorous, autonomous and have a spirit of synthesis and ability to manage several files;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
