Job description
- Develop, maintain and execute the work on the layout of a new modern and secure ITC, to which to migrate technological services. By taking into account technological issues, the complexity of the current infrastructure, stakeholders and linkages with other IT programs and roadmaps;
- Drive this high-visibility technology initiative, with a structuring impact on core platforms and systems;
- Ensure alignment of technology deliverables with clear objectives, IT strategy, architecture, security and governance standards;
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and vendors (infrastructure, telecoms, architecture, development, data, IT operations) in a matrix context;
- Exercise influential leadership with IT managers, architects, suppliers and business teams in order to facilitate decision-making and the arbitration of program priorities;
- Supervise change management (scope, solutions, resources, budget, schedule) and ensure compliance with IT governance practices, methodology and quality standards;
- Develop and maintain technology risk analysis (architecture, integration, security, performance, technical debt) as well as mitigation strategies;
- Ensure rigorous and integrated accountability to the developer, IT governance committees and decision-making bodies;
- Represent the organization in relations with suppliers and technology partners, including the negotiation and management of contractual agreements;
- Manage a major IT program with IT project managers under his/her supervision.
- Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in infrastructure and/or telecommunications program management;
- Hold a PMP certification, required or strongly desired;
- Demonstrate significant experience in the delivery of complex technology programs, including application, cloud and systems integration environments;
- Accumulate experience on IT programs of significant strategic complexity ($20 million and more per year);
- Understand the challenges of modernizing and fitting out CTI rooms as well as the associated risks;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
